Wine Notes: The wine is medium plus weight and garnet in color.  Aromas lend themselves to dark fruits, pipe tobacco, and darker tones of molasses, and the most delicate presence of violets.  On the palate, this wine is full-bodied with flavors of dark fruits of blackberry, black currant, and red plums.  A well-balanced wine with soft tannins, layers of complexity, and an exceptional finish.

Pairing: Pair this wine with wild game dishes like venison, elk, or sandhill crane, richer cuts of steak topped with fresh chimichurri, and grilled Caesar salads. Exceptional with a treat of dark chocolate-covered coffee beans.
